Heheheheh I love coding websites... I just got one up and now have two more to do in the near future. It's SO COOL how God lets me do what I love doing but still use it for ministry :-)

Last night I tried out a prayer method from the book "Devotion Explosion: What to do when your quiet time becomes too quiet" by Stephen Schwambach (great book!). I typed my prayers for over half an hour, which is pretty good going for me. I was like, any method which helps me break through! And last night, that was it.

I started using "Our Daily Bread" again for the same reason. Hey, it works.

Monday I start 'work' oh joy of joys. I just found out that it will take me over an hour on two buses, and then apparently a half-hour hike to the compound. Aaagggrrrrhhhh... guess who will be getting up at 5:15am Monday morning? Dad suggested organising a mini-bus, an idea which just sounds better and better.

*sigh*

I have been listening to Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" on my computer over and over and over and over. I mean, no kidding, it's one Mp3 set to "repeat" and that's all I've listened to in the last 2 days which I have spent hours on my computer coding a site. Enough is enough, I have put WOW 1999 (green disc) in my stereo, "Entertaining Angels" is playing. I still want to learn to play "A Thousand Miles" but it is a technically demanding piece, at least for me it is. And I think that rather learn to play the violin (my dream for the last 3 years), I want to learn the cello instead. Only problem being that a cello costs a lot more than a violin. (we are talking bottom-of-the-range here). Oh well, a girl's gotta have a dream...

I feel so good because my room is nice and clean... i spent all yesterday afternoon on it. i even moved my computer and monitor to get at the accumulated fluff back there. *righteous feeling*

Materials exam went well, mostly because it's my favourite subject. The ice-cream i celebrated with was a Magnum Double Caramel mmmmmmmm.

The computer demonstration wasn't tooooooooo bad. Out of five testers, i was assigned to my actual lecturer who actually knows my name. He didn't yell at me or anything, just established that i didn't have much of a project. He asked me how i felt i did in my exam, and whether i was an Electrical major or Mechanical. I had prayed for favour ;-) and i'm hoping he gave me enough marks for a D which is a pass mark!

I feel so relieved that it's all over but it stinks that i have another month to wait before results.

February = start new semester
February - May = lectures
May - June = exams
June - July = anxiously waiting results
July - September = studying for re-sits
September = re-sits
October = New semester.

It just never stops!!! Waaaah i am surprised that half the student body doesn't have ulcers...

So on Monday i start my 4-week work-phase at the power plant. Whee. Still don't know if we're getting paid for it. Hope we are!!!

I hope that i will be able to get myself into a decent routine, including
*** studying for re-sits
*** Bible study
*** Arabic study
*** proper planning for ministries

lol that's a lot of study!

I am already looking forward to a new semester in October but I am also scared silly that i may have flunked out.

Time will tell...
